Here is just a quick bit about our quality dogs and the OFA. The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals is an independent certifying organization in Columbia, Missouri. They evaluate and archive the needed tests (designated by the American Kennel Club) to assure your dog, whatever the breed, has the best chance of being healthy and solidly built from the very start. Under their supervision, our dogs are tested for strong and well aligned hips and elbows, sharp and clear vision, heart performance, and cone degeneration. All the tests are conducted by veterinary specialists in those fields and then cumulatively assessed by the OFA. No one can influence the grades your dogs receive and no responsible breeder will produce puppies without the OFA‘s approval. Untested dogs may be inferior and may not maintain the characteristics of the breed, producing puppies that no reputable breeder will give a health guarantee on. All of our puppies will go to their home with a one year congenital health guarantee in writing.
